Joshua J. Hertz received a double major in B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1997 and earned his J.D. in 2001 from St. Thomas Law School in Miami, Florida. He started his law firm directly out of law school, concentrating in the field of personal injury as a trial lawyer. He was the past president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Dade County Bar, 2009-2012, and is currently the founder and chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee for the Dade County Bar. He frequently lectures on how to start your own law firm for both law schools and bar associations. He is currently a member of the Florida Bar’s Executive Committee on General Practice. Founder and past president of the Dominican American Bar. Graduate of The Florida Bar Leadership Academy.
